World of Warcraft Adds New Way to Obtain Lost Legendary Items

World of Warcraft recently added new NPCs to the Transmogrification shops in Orgrimmar and Stormwind who sell previously-acquired Legendary items that have been lost or deleted. These NPCs were quietly added to the game in World of Warcraft Patch 11.0.7, and can be found in both capital cities right now.

Legendary items in World of Warcraft are among the most challenging to acquire. From the classic weapons such as Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian, and Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker, to the newer additions in WoW: Dragonflight like Nasz’uro, the Unbound Legacy, and Fyr’alath, the Dream Render, these coveted pieces of gear demand significant time and effort to secure.

Fans of World of Warcraft can now reclaim their lost or deleted Legendary weapons. Although this feature wasn’t highlighted in the patch notes for version 11.0.7, Blizzard has introduced two new vendor NPCs in the game. MrGM, a WoW content creator, found that Seeker Ke’rath and Seeker Najed are available in the Transmog shops of Orgrimmar and Stormwind, respectively.

How to Get Lost Legendary Items in World of Warcraft

  • Check if it can be reacquired with the Item Restoration feature.
  • Find one of the two new Ethereal vendors in each major capital city’s Transmogrification shop.
    • Seeker Najed in Three Winds in Stormwind
    • Seeker Ke’rath in the Drag in Orgrimmar
  • Missing Legendary or Artifact items can be purchased for 500 gold each.
    • Fans must have finished the quests and achievements associated with the item.
    • Upgradable items like the Heart of Azeroth are reset to rank 1.
    • Obtained Legion Artifact items and Warlords of Draenor rings are purchased from vendors in their zones.

To acquire a Legendary item from the vendor, players must first complete the associated achievements or quests and ensure that the item is not present in their inventory or bank. Some Legendary items, like the rings from Warlords of Draenor and various gear from Legion, can be obtained from different vendors located in their respective expansion zones.

Players missing certain items should first consider using the Item Restoration feature in World of Warcraft before exploring vendor options. This method is beneficial as it comes with no gold cost, making it a great first step.
