At the beginning of your journey, as you create your character, you will be faced with the important task of selecting a Panopticon. This choice is significant because it will remain fixed for that character throughout the game, given that you are limited to a single save file.
In Japan, you’ll find a variety of Panopticons, each uniquely named after different towns or locations throughout the country. Choosing one of these Panopticons is a significant decision, as it will remain with you throughout your experience. However, rest assured that your choice will not hinder your gameplay in any way, allowing you to explore the game freely without concern.
What Panopticon Should You Choose In Freedom Wars Remastered?
Panopticons consist of a group of players who select a specific Panopticon to collaborate on, all contributing to the collective score of that particular Panopticon. Throughout the game, players have the opportunity to view the rankings of various Panopticons, which aggregate the total GPP earned by all participants within that Panopticon. This allows players to gauge which Panopticon is performing the best overall.

Your Panopticon serves as a collective ranking system for players who select the same one as you, and its impact on gameplay is minimal. Currently, there are no rewards for being at the top or bottom of the Panopticon rankings, which means your choice of Panopticon is largely a matter of personal preference rather than a strategic decision.

The League of Panopticons receives updates every few minutes in real time, meaning you won’t have access to the rankings of each Panopticon until you actually enter the game. If you’re not particularly focused on being part of the leading Panopticon, feel free to choose any one that appeals to you and dedicate your efforts to elevating it to greatness.

Panopticons are a collection of players that choose that Panopticon that will all work towards the overall score of that Panopticon. In different places in the game, you’ll be able to check Panopticon rankings, which combines the total GPP all all players in that Panopticon to see which Panopticon is best.

Simply put, your Panopticon is a combined ranking for other players who happen to choose the same one as you, and it won’t have much of a gameplay effect beyond that. At the time of writing, there is no bonus for being the top Panopticon or the lowest, so it really won’t matter which one you join. The League Of Panopticons compares all 47 Panopticons and ranks them based on overall GPP, and this ranking will be seen all throughout the game on screens in your Panopticon. Interacting with the League of Panopticons menu will let you see:
- Total GPP of that Panopticon.
- League Of Panopticon Ranking.
- Total Sinners (players) in that Panopticon.
- Individual GPP Contribution (this is rounded by dividing the total number of GPP by sinners in that Panopticon.)
The League of Panopticons is updated every few real-world minutes, and you aren’t able to check the rankings of each Panopticon until you’re in the game. Unless you’re dead-set on joining the top Panopticon, join whichever one you want and work to make it the best. If you do want to join the best, you’ll have to start a character and restart after checking the rankings, though they can always change very easily.
Note:-The Panopticon you choose will not affect who you can play with online or with/against in PVP, as there is no restriction.
What Are Panopticons In Freedom Wars Remastered?
