At first glance, the Volcano Forge might appear daunting, but it’s actually quite user-friendly. Once players grasp the various effects they can apply to their gear, a whole new realm of opportunities opens up.

This update introduces a variety of enhancements, ranging from minor quality-of-life improvements to significant new features like the Mastery system. Additionally, familiar game elements have been further developed, with weapon forging receiving notable attention.
Obtaining Cinder Shards
To utilize all the features of Volcano Forge, players must gather Cinder Shards, which are scattered throughout the Volcano Dungeon. Each tool or weapon requires a minimum of 65 Cinder Shards for enchanting and complete forging, so players should be prepared to invest some time in collecting these unique crystals.

- As a drop from certain enemies in the Volcano Dungeon. Each of the following enemies has specific likelihood of dropping this item.
- Magma Sprite: 50% chance to drop
- Magma Duggy: 40% chance
- Magma Sparker: 50% chance
- False Magma Cap: 50% chance to drop
- Produced from a fishing pond with 7 or more Stingrays. The pond may spawn 2-5 Cinder Shards, with a 7-9% daily chance to occur.
The Mini-Forge
After achieving Combat Mastery, players no longer have to travel to the Volcano Dungeon to create weapons and enchant tools. With this skill mastered, they will unlock the crafting recipe for the Mini-Forge. This handy mini-forge operates just like its larger counterpart found in the dungeon and can be set up in any location.

- 5 Iridium Bar
Weapon Forging
Players can enhance their weapons by using gemstones in exchange for Cinder Shards. Each weapon can undergo the forging process up to three times, with each upgrade providing a more significant boost to its stats. It’s important to note that this forging feature is exclusive to weapons and does not apply to tools like the Axe, Hoe, Watering Can, or Pickaxe.
