A recent leak regarding the Genshin Impact 5.3 update suggests that certain characters might not have English voiceovers. This isn’t the first time some characters have been left unvoiced in previous updates, which could be attributed to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

However, in early October, fans discovered that some important scenes in the Version 5.1 Archon Quest and flagship event were missing English voice lines. This was disappointing for many who were eagerly anticipating the Sumeru event.
A recent update on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit from leaker Blackout has indicated that almost twenty characters may not receive voiceovers in the English version of the upcoming 5.3 update. According to the leak, both Kinich and Iansan will not have voice lines during the Archon Quest in this patch. Notably, Kinich was also unvoiced in Version 5.1, along with Ajaw.
