A fresh partnership for the BLEACH anime has just been announced. This collaboration with the Japanese art brand GAAAT features a unique art collection celebrating the 20th anniversary of BLEACH, which debuted in 2004.

There are five unique pieces of art in the collection, each highlighting a different character from the series, such as Ichigo, Uryū, and Kon.

A Japanese Art Brand Collaborates With A Highly Artistic Anime

GAAAT Gallery is a Japanese art brand dedicated to blending art and technology to create unique experiences. One of their innovative approaches is through what they refer to as “metal canvas art” (MCA). This concept allows them to explore new dimensions in artistic expression.

MCA is a new art experience proposed by GAAAT. Each piece of metal canvas art is carefully handcrafted by expert artisans to provide a unique immersive experience that accentuates the three-dimensionality of the artwork while possessing the weight and beauty of metal materials. In addition, it offers superior durability, resisting sunlight and humidity, allowing its beauty to be enjoyed over a long period of time.

The artworks are crafted through a meticulous layering technique, incorporating 32 layers of ink that provide a unique tactile quality. This “subtle unevenness” in the layers enhances the three-dimensional feel of each piece. The style reflects a pop-art influence, resonating with the aesthetics of Tite Kubo’s original manga and the acclaimed Thousand-Year Blood War adaptation, which is approaching its finale.
