Monopoly GO is introducing Tycoon Racers, a thrilling new event that will be available globally for the second time on 5th September, 2024. With the chance to win a Wild Sticker as the grand prize, this event is unlike anything else in the game. What is the Tycoon Racers Monopoly GO event?
Tycoon Racers is an exciting co-op tournament in Monopoly GO! Just like the Partner Events, you’ll team up with three other players to kick off the event by gathering Flag tokens on the first day. For the following days, you’ll compete in races against three other teams. If you don’t have three friends to partner with at the beginning of the racing phase, don’t worry—a random player will be assigned to join your team!
Remember to change teams before the race starts by clicking on your profile icon within the team. You’ll then have the option to leave the team. Just a heads up, your friends who are already on a team can’t switch to yours. Send out invites in advance to bring the best friends onto your Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers team!
How are team matches chosen in Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers?
Skill levels are the basis for team matches in Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers, with elements like Dice rolls and cash coming into play. The opponents you face are similar to those on a leaderboard, thanks to the matchmaking program. However, Scopely has not revealed any information about the presence of bots.
What is the objective of Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers?
Your team’s goal is to collect Flag tokens to roll three special event Dice. To use the Tycoon Racers Dice popper, you need at least 20 Flags for one roll. You can use a multiplier of up to 20x. Points from Dice rolls move your race car around the track. Your race position is based on the value of your Dice roll.
The team that completes the most laps and is in the lead will win the race, earning Medals that can unlock the grand prize rewards. Your primary goal is to have more laps and points than the other teams to secure better rewards.
The last Tycoon Racers Monopoly GO race is the most crucial one. If you win the final race, you’ll receive double Medals. The player with the most Medals at the end of Tycoon Racers will take home the grand prize.
How do Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers Medals work?
When you finish a race in the Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers event, you and your team will receive Medals. The third and last race will give you Double Medals. The team with the highest number of Medals at the end of the Tycoon Racers Monopoly GO event will be the champion and receive the grand prize reward. Here’s how the Medals are scored for each race in Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers. The Medals are doubled for the third race.

What are the Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers rewards?
Just like in solo and tournament events, Tycoon Racers lap rewards provide bonus items as you reach specific lap reward milestones. Although we don’t have a complete list of milestones and rewards at this time, we can confirm that you’ll receive Dice Rolls, Flag tokens, event cash, regular cash, and Sticker packs from lap rewards.
Monopoly GO offers Flag tokens or Dice rolls as rewards. Tycoon Racers offers Flag tokens or lap rewards. If you are close to completing your Sticker album, choose the Purple Sticker pack over Dice and Flags.
End-of-race rewards in Tycoon Racers’ second phase are familiar. They might change for the August Monopoly GO event.

Is There Any grand Prize?
Your Medals will contribute to your chances of winning the grand prize rewards for Tycoon Racers, including a Wild Sticker, a Tycoon Racer game piece Token, and 3,500 Dice rolls.
When does Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers start and end?
The global Tycoon Racers second edition will start at 10:30am on Thursday, September 5, 2024. During the first 24 hours of the Monopoly GO event, make sure to team up with three other players and collect as many Flags as possible. Then, get ready for three races taking place from September 6 to 7, with the mini-game concluding at 3pm CT on September 7.
Each position earns medals at the end of each race. The team with the most wins!
Race around with your team to complete laps in a race. As you go further, it gets tougher to earn bigger rewards by finishing more laps. Click on the loot box to check how many laps are left to complete towards the next reward!
Select one reward: dice, stickers, cash, flash events, or event currency to gain an edge over other teams.
Completing races doesn’t yield rewards. You can earn rewards from lap milestones and medals at the end of each race.
The currency which you obtain will be available throughout the whole event. Once the event ends, all remaining currency will be converted to Monopoly Cash.
If your team isn’t full during the “team up” stage, our matchmaking system auto-matches you.
In the “team up” stage, exit your team by clicking the red button on your Avatar. Once in “Race phases,” you can’t leave the team.
Each race results earn team medals, except for the last race where you can earn DOUBLE! Determining overall competition ranking for Grand Prize rewards.
Although it may be rare, it’s okay! The team will still be matched with other teams of the same skill level.
