Disney Dreamlight Valley Hades Code Actually Works

A player in Disney Dreamlight Valley has successfully demonstrated that a secret code from Hades’ Friendship Quest can be exchanged for rewards in the game. While Disney Dreamlight Valley frequently introduces limited-time codes with new updates, only a few of them stay active for the long haul.

Disney Dreamlight Valley has just rolled out its Sew Delightful update, introducing Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas to the game. Meanwhile, players are still having a blast with the content from the Storybook Vale patch released in November 2024, which brought in a wealth of new features and fan-favorite characters like Hades from Hercules and Merida from Brave. Like other characters, players can unlock Hades and embark on his Friendship Quests to earn unique items. Interestingly, Hades’ quests seem to offer a bit more in terms of rewards, as they include a special redeemable code.

A Reddit user named Malificent7276 made an interesting discovery: the code “HADES15,” which Hades mentions during his dialogue, can be redeemed for three carrots. This code becomes available only after players finish the “Your Own Personal Hades” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In this quest, players hear Hades deliver a promotional speech to Scrooge McDuck, where he shares a discount code for Goofy’s Stall. While it might seem like a mere coincidence, Malificent7276 suspected there was more to it. After entering the code in the game, they were pleasantly surprised to receive three free carrots along with a special letter from Hades. Although the reward isn’t huge, many players in Disney Dreamlight Valley found this little Easter egg quite entertaining. Plus, since carrots are essential for cooking special dishes, those three free ingredients can be quite useful!

How To Redeem Hades’ Hidden Code in Disney Dreamlight Valley

  • Complete “Your Own Personal Hades” Quest
  • Go to Settings > Help > Redemption Code
  • Enter code “HADES15”

Disney Dreamlight Valley frequently provides players with redemption codes for various in-game items and cosmetics, particularly during update showcases. Although these codes do have expiration dates, some, like the Disney Dreamlight Valley Pride promo codes, are known to stay active for longer. Since Hades’ quest is permanently accessible following the Storybook Vale patch, it’s likely that his quest code is also permanently valid. Just a reminder, codes can only be redeemed once per account.

Disney Dreamlight Valley has given us a sneak peek of what’s in store for 2025, hinting at the arrival of Aladdin and Jasmine, likely around late February. Additionally, players can anticipate the second half of the Storybook Vale expansion coming this summer. However, the recent Storybook Vale patch encountered some hiccups, with players not receiving their pre-ordered bonuses. The developers have promised to investigate these issues, so hopefully, future updates will run more smoothly.
