What Are Tarot Cards?
In Balatro, you can find Tarot Cards as consumable items that you can buy or collect during your gameplay. There are a total of 22 Tarot cards, each marked with its unique arcana number. When you purchase a card, it will occupy one of your two available consumable slots. Many of these Tarot Cards can boost your deck by altering card suits or adding effects that help you earn more chips or multipliers. Some cards might even provide you with new Jokers, consumables, or cash. Uncover all 22 Tarot Cards to unlock the Cartomancy achievement and earn the Cartomancer Joker.
You can acquire Tarot Cards by buying Arcana Packs from the shop during the breaks between rounds. When you open these booster packs, you’ll have the chance to select one Tarot Card from a variety of options. If you have $4 or less, the Vagabond Joker will generate a new Tarot Card each time you play a hand.
