Targeting Modes In GTA Online
In Grand Theft Auto Online, you have access to four different targeting modes. The assisted modes are particularly beneficial for players on console versions, while the Free Aim modes might be a better fit for those using a mouse and keyboard on PC. Changing Targeting Modes in GTA Online
You have the option to modify these settings for your multiplayer character, but there’s a small catch. While you’re engaged in multiplayer games, you won’t be able to change the Targeting Mode. If you try to adjust it, the option will be grayed out. This is because Grand Theft Auto Online organizes players into lobbies according to their selected Targeting Mode to ensure fairness. To make any changes, you’ll need to switch to the Story Mode of the game.
To begin the single-player campaign, head back to the main menu or exit to Story Mode from the online menu.
